Louise Bell is one of the most successful riders in the United Kingdom. Before his meteoric rise in the international dressage world, he was at the top of the Working Hunter scene. Louise has been steaming her hay since she bought an HG One late last year, and now she is addicted to it! Find out why below
Louise Bell got into dressage almost by accident, taking part in a Horse and Hound editorial in 2011, for which she taught three classes with Michael Eilberg. She has been fascinated by it ever since!
In 2019, riding her former stalking horse Into the Blue (aka Dynamo), Louise received the British flag when she represented Great Britain on a team. She was the member of the British Nations Cup team in the CDI grand prix at Hickstead in July, where she participated as a judge in the Royal International Horse Show ring. Louise will be Dynamo’s champion at this year’s Grand Prix, and her homebred mare Skyfall will also make her debut at this year’s Small Tour and is definitely one to watch for the future. Louise has been steaming her hay since the end of 2019 and never goes anywhere without her HG One.
“I never go out for a race without my HG One steamer.”
From Louise Bell’s blog
It has been a busy month for Team Bell! We were delighted to participate in the VR Classics World Cup Grand Prix in Neumünster, Germany. Dynamo “INTO THE BLUE” was incredible! We were ranked 12th, and made it to the freestyle. He was amazing in his piaffe passage, but rather restless in most of the rest. The next day we entered the top ten. I was super proud that Dynamo was able to contain his enthusiasm, and we both loved competing. Happy horse, happy rider!
