High-oil feed for optimal condition
Racing Prep 14 is a multi-use feed containing high-quality high percentage oil (9.5%) and beet pulp; it provides calories of excellent taste for all horses in training.
It promotes weight gain and condition to any horse and is extremely suitable for pre-race condition. It works especially well on larger and longer horse types who can often have trouble maintaining their weight and topline (topline) throughout the season. It is very effective on horses that run medium and long distances is they train on these programs.
Specifically formulated to be a very versatile condition feed, Racing Prep 14 produces a dense “boost” of energy, up to 20 percent more than traditional racing feeds.
It can be used as a diet base or to enhance the post-race recovery phase for horses normally fed Race 13.

RACING PREP 14 is an all-purpose sweet food containing extra oil (9.5 percent) and beet pulp, providing extremely palatable calories for all horses in full training. They can run after feeding on the feed or the feed can be used between runs to improve the recovery rates of horses normally fed on Race 13. It will add weight and condition to any horse and is extremely suitable for pre-race conditioning of colder horses. It works especially well on horses with larger frames and longer backs that can often have trouble maintaining weight and topline during the season. It is especially effective for middle and long distance horses.
Specifically formulated to be a versatile conditioning feed, Racing Prep 14 produces a major “boost” of energy, up to 20 percent more than conventional racing feeds. Premium grains are blended with sugar beet pulp and soybean oil, then fortified using Saracen’s Stamm 30® supplement for nutrient continuity. The feed is ideal for pre-race conditioning, for racehorses under stress, or for any horse with poor appetite that has digestive difficulties.
BMC® (Buffered Mineral Complex) is a natural mineral source rich in bioavailable minerals including calcium, magnesium, boron, silicon, iodine, zinc and manganese. BMC® is used in all specific feeds in our racing range following extensive research conducted by Kentucky Equine Research(KER) on the positive effects on digestive health and bone development. Research on training racehorses given Triacton, a supplement containing BMC™ plus other key vitamins, has been shown to be effective in increasing bone density after only 90 days of supplementation. Feeding Triacton increased the density of the dorsal cortex of cannon bone by three times, at the same time doubling bone thickness and increasing bone area.
