High-fiber pellets for older horses
For all horses over 16 years of age in activity or at rest. Powder and oat-free feed formulated with quality fiber and oils for controlled and continuous energy release. It contains an important group of antioxidants for maintaining optimal health and immune function. This pellet is softer than regular feeds and can also be soaked to make an appetizing concentrate.

VETERAN CUBES is a high-quality, highly digestible pelleted feed designed specifically for the needs of the older horse or pony (16 years and older). The pellets are made to be softer than other traditional pellets, while still remaining dust-free. This will help horses that have difficulty chewing due to weaker teeth. For horses with chewing problems, VETERAN CUBES can be soaked to produce a soft, palatable mash.
VETERAN CUBES is based on “SuperFibre” sources that provide a similar level of calories as grains but reduce reliance on grains in the diet by helping to keep starch levels low. The combination of oil and digestible fiber provides slow-release energy while helping to avoid the excitable temper that can be associated with grain-based diets.
VETERAN CUBES contains essential antioxidants such as vitamin E, which absorb free radicals helping the horse maintain normal muscle function and decrease recovery time after exercise. Antioxidants also benefit the aged horse through the maintenance of normal metabolic systems and immune function, thus offering the aged horse the best protection to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The addition of a mint flavor makes these pellets highly palatable.
VETERAN CUBES includes high-quality protein sources needed by the aging horse and is fortified with chelated vitamins and minerals. These minerals can help supplement natural stress resistance and the immune system, as well as improve coat health and skin and hoof quality.
