The seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, which proliferates on the cold coasts of the North Atlantic Ocean. Hand-harvested using traditional and sustainable methods, it has been used for centuries as a natural food supplement precisely because of its low iodine content andhigh concentration of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It consists of 48 elements, 16 amino acids and 11 vitamins.
