Beet pulp for quick soaking
Saracen Rapid Beet consists of beet pulps for quick soaking that have a high content of digestible fiber. It provides a slow-release, non-heating source of energy, thus also suitable for temperamental horses. It is naturally low in sugars (5 percent) and starches (1.5 percent) and is suitable for horses that require low amounts of these components due to disease or to maintain a good healthy diet. It is highly palatable and can be added to any type of feed to help increase digestible fiber intake.
Ingredients
- Unmolassed sugar beet
- High levels of digestible fiber
- Quick and easy to prepare by soaking
- Low levels of sugars (5%) and starches (1.5%)
- Does not warm the horse’s temperament but provides slow-assimilation energy
- Suitable for use for different periods and in all seasons
Rapid Beet is suitable for:
- Horses and ponies that require fiber intake in addition to their diet
- Horses and ponies requiring a diet with low levels of sugars and starches
Crude fiber 16.5%
Starches 1.5%
Sugars 5%.
Administer Rapid Beet up to a maximum of 0.5kg (dry product weight) per 100 kg body weight.
Mix 1 part Saracen Rapid Beet to 5 parts water by weight, e.g., 200 g Saracen Rapid Beet requires 1 liter of water. Let the product soak for 10 minutes (using warm water reduces the soaking time to 5 minutes).
