EquiShure® is an encapsulated form of sodium bi-carbonate designed to reach the horse’s hind gut directly.
This hind gut supplement is suitable for horses showing signs of impaired digestive function and those diagnosed with hind gut acidosis.
It can be safely used for working horses, late pregnant mares and weanling foals. It can be supplemented while traveling or at any time when normal power patterns are compromised.
Also ideal for horses that do not maintain weight well or have poor appetite.
Ingredients
- Monoglycerides
- Baking soda
- Hydrogenated vegetable oil
- Helps maintain a normal intestinal environment and digestive health
- Stabilizes the pH of the posterior intestine to reduce the risk of intestinal disorders
- Supports the health of the digestive system
- Horses fed high-starch/cereal diets or sensitive to dietary changes
- Horses showing signs of digestive disorders resulting in soft feces
- Horses that develop vices such as support tick or bear dance
- Raw protein <1.0%
- Crude fiber <1.0%
- Crude fats and oils 35%
- Crude ash 17%.
- Sodium 16%
Administer 30 to 180 g per day depending on the size of the horse. Use the table below to determine the recommended daily amount based on grain intake, forage source and horse weight. For best results, divide the amount equally among the feeds.
