Equi-Jewel is a rice bran supplement for weight gain that delivers concentrated calories to horses with limited appetite and requiring better condition. Provides slow-release energy to support the needs of the performance horse in intense activity.
Contains BMC ™, the new gastric support package developed by Kentucky Equine Research.

Scientific research has proven the superiority of EQUI-JEWEL in optimizing the performance of the athlete horse. During intense physical activity horses fed EQUI-JEWEL had lower lactic acid levels and greater endurance than horses fed corn oil. In addition, when EQUI-JEWEL was used as a substitute for vegetable oils in horse feed, studies showed lower heart rates and consequent shorter recovery times after intense physical activity.

EQUI-JEWEL® can be administered at a rate of 500 g to 1000 g per day to achieve adequate body condition, up to a maximum of 1500 g per day when additional conditioning is needed. The degree of supplementation required depends on the desired caloric intake.
Try to always feed your horse good quality hay to the extent of 1.5 percent of his body weight each day.
