Product Description
Alfalfa Oil Chaff by Saracen is a natural Forage with a high content of fiber, without straw, for horses and ponies in strenuous activity; promotes weight gain and condition without irritability and excitability and is composed of non-genetically modified English alfalfa with a light coating of rapeseed oil.
It is dried at high temperature and dedusted; these processes make Saracen Alfalfa Oil Chaff a suitable product even for horses and ponies with respiratory problems.
Saracen Alfa Oil Chaff contains no preservatives, dyes or additives.
Alfalfa provides good quality nutrients, is low in sugar and starch, and provides natural antioxidants. Alfalfa is also rich in calcium, which supports bone development and hoof quality and provides a natural acid buffer.
The quality protein in alfalfa provides support for physical condition.
Slow feeding related to forage increases chewing time and subsequent salivation; this promotes digestive health.
