Between September 15 and 25, 2022, the FEI World Championship 2022 will return to Rome.
Twenty-four years after the historic edition of the World Equestrian Games Rome returns to be the center of international equestrianism at Pratoni del Vivaro – Rocca di Papa, the wonderful location that has hosted several very important events in past years.
The program of the FEI World Championship 2022 at Protoni del Vivaro
The FEI World Championship 2022 program will be packed with events.
During the first week, between September 15 and 18, the World Championship of Complete Competition will take place, which will be valid for qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
This will be followed during the second week by the World Attack Championships (Sept. 22-25).
The Italian Equestrian Sports Federation is likely to be represented by the following blue athletes: Susanna Bordone, Marco Cappai, Emiliano Portale, Pietro Sandei, Arianna Schivo, Giovanni Ugolotti, Evelina Bertoli and Pietro Majolino.
Harrison Horse Care & Equivet Roma Hospital
The Harrison Horse Care team is proud to announce its presence at the 2022 WECs. We will be present alongside Equivet Roma Hospital, the event’s official veterinary clinic, to support the team of professionals who will care for the horses involved in the competitions.
We will lend our support to the Equivet team within the clinic stables and do so with our products; it will be an aid in day-to-day stable management with the most supportive solutions from a veterinary perspective.
Given the dangerous nature of the disciplines of Complete Competition and Attacks, Equivet’s presence will be of paramount importance; in these specialties horses are highly stressed respiratorily and musculoskeletally, and trauma and problems are the order of the day.
Our products on the team for the World Championships
We have chosen, together with Equivet, to give our full support to the use of three products that are useful in the stable and reflect the welfare of the horse but also the care and management of issues often related to their sporting life.

Haygain
In both Eventing and Driving competitions, breathing is of paramount importance. These are endurance and cross-country disciplines. Hay Steamed by our Haygain devices performs a very important task in preserving, treating and supporting therespiratory system of horses. Exercise improves if breathing is healthy, and these devices prevent inflammation and fatigue in the respiratory system and prevent complications in this important system. The clinic stables at the WECs will have a hay purifier that will be in operation at all times to purify the hay that will be fed to the horses and to introduce this device to those who want to learn about its benefits directly in the field.
Equissage
All of the competing horses will be involved in regulated and calibrated athletic performances but which will put a great deal of muscle and joint strain on them.
Our Equissage equine physiotherapy system will be available to the clinic’s guest horses and will help with recovery after competitive activity or to manage muscle injuries or lactic acid issues. For optimal recovery and professional support that will be available to horses at the Equivet event clinic.
Forager
During the weeks of the WECs, the clinic will house horses participating in the competitions that need veterinary care. The Forager slow-feeder feeder will be very helpful in allowing horses to feed at the most correct rates during the rehabilitation days. It will be in the clinic stables to make the horses’ stay as natural as possible.
