Product Description
Saracen‘s Performance Sports Chaff is a 100% natural high-fiber, straw-free forage; it is a blend of non-genetically modified English alfalfa and soft meadow grass with a light coating of molasses and canola oil. It is dried at high temperature and de-dusted; these processes make Saracen Performance Sports Chaff a suitable product even for horses and ponies with respiratory problems.
Saracen Performance-Sports Chaff contains no preservatives, dyes or additives.
Alfalfa provides good quality nutrients, is low in sugar and starch, and provides natural antioxidants. Alfalfa is also rich in calcium, which supports bone development and hoof quality and provides a natural acid buffer. The quality protein contained in alfalfa provides support for physical fitness without exaggerating excitability.
Saracen Performance Sports Chaff also contains a blend of grasses that are highly palatable; this makes the forage suitable for horses with the most difficult palates. The mixture of alfalfa and soft meadow grasses results in a product that is easy to chew and naturally sweet.
Slow feeding related to forage increases chewing time and consequent salivation (natural acid buffer); this promotes digestive health.

It is recommended to administer 100 g x 100 kg body weight per meal.
