Race 13® is a highly palatable feed formulated to support the racehorse both physically and mentally. It is very effective in horses with compact physiques compared to Racing Prep 14, which is more recommended for horses with a large structure.
Different sources of calories meet the different energy demands of the athlete horse. The addition of the Stamm30 balancer gives nutritional continuity and complements the formulation with a mix of supplements.

RACE 13 is a high-energy sweet food formulated to keep the equine athlete with a physical and mental edge during the rigors of an intense training period. It is designed for fully active and racing horses. It will make a horse strong and resilient during training and maintain the condition even in racing. It is especially effective for sprinters and hurdlers. It works especially well on horses with a more compact build type.
RACE 13 is essentially formulated to make the most of the horse’s natural athletic abilities. The feed is designed to maintain a competitive edge by using a variety of different energy sources to meet the energy needs of a racehorse. These come in the form of fats, carbohydrates, and “Super Fibers” in a highly palatable formulation that provides the muscle with a mixture of energy sources to draw from. It contains a blend of premium grains, sugar beet pulp and soybean oil and is enriched with Saracen’s Stamm 30® supplement for nutrient continuity.
BMC® (Buffered Mineral Complex) is a natural mineral source rich in bioavailable minerals including calcium, magnesium, boron, silicon, iodine, zinc and manganese. BMC® is used in all specific feeds in our racing range following extensive research conducted by Kentucky Equine Research(KER) on the positive effects on digestive health and bone development. Research on training racehorses given Triacton, a supplement containing BMC™ plus other key vitamins, has been shown to be effective in increasing bone density after only 90 days of supplementation. Feeding Triacton increased the density of the dorsal cortex of cannon bone by three times, at the same time doubling bone thickness and increasing bone area.
