High Fiber Mix
Very palatable for even the hardest-to-please horses, this fiber-based feed is finely chopped. It can be fed as a complete feed or can be supplemented as a forage to the daily diet. It contains a mixture of nine herbs, live yeast and natural vitamin E. It can also be used to support the appetite of horses and ponies in recovery or convalescence.

SUPER FIBRE MIX contains a live yeast culture that is proven to increase microbial activity. Saccharomyces cerevisiae supports efficient fiber digestion leading to improved assimilation of feed and forage.
Research has shown that alfalfa has a high capacity to buffer stomach acid due to its naturally high calcium content(Nadeau et al., 2000); the addition of alfalfa chaff to the feed has shown positive effects on pre-cecal digestion(Vervuert et al ., 2009). It is well documented that chewing stimulates saliva production, which has a buffering effect on stomach acid. Using a feed with an alfalfa husk base, such as Super Fibre Mix, will help increase saliva production by encouraging chewing and will help further buffer stomach acid due to the high levels of calcium in the alfalfa husk included among the feed components.
