Highly palatable, whole oat-free formula with an important antioxidant component to support overall health and well-being. Contains four different herbs to support normal respiratory, digestive and immune function.

VETERAN MIX is a high-quality, highly digestible blend designed specifically for the needs of the older horse or pony (16 years and older). It is based on “Super Fiber” sources that provide a similar level of calories as grains but reduce reliance on grains in the diet by helping to keep starch levels low. The combination of oil and digestible fiber provides slow-release energy while helping to avoid the excitable temper that can be associated with grain-based diets.
VETERAN MIX also includes essential antioxidants such as vitamin E, which absorbs free radicals helping the horse maintain normal muscle function and decrease recovery time after exercise. Antioxidants also benefit the aged horse through the maintenance of normal metabolic systems and immune function, thus offering the aged horse the best protection to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The blend of four different herbs promotes palatability making this feed suitable for even the most discerning palates.
VETERAN MIX contains the high-quality protein sources required by the aged horse and is fortified with a full spectrum of chelated vitamins and minerals. These minerals can help supplement natural stress resistance and the immune system, as well as improve coat health and skin and hoof quality. A live yeast culture is included to support digestive function and to facilitate assimilation of feed and forage.
